Hi, I’m Abhishek, a Software Engineer from Bengaluru, India. If you couldn’t already tell, I love building stuff with code. When I’m not typing away at a computer, you can find me reading a book on technology, business, philosophy, politics or just a feel-good novel.
I have always* been passionate about computers and have been learning programming since the age of 13. Unsurprisingly, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
* Ever since I was old enough to remember. As a baby, I was “passionate” about crying and babbling unintelligible sounds.
I worked on my first real-world project in 2018 and ever since then it’s been a wonderful learning experience on every new project that I’ve taken up. My goal for each day is to write software that’s better than my previous implementation in a teeny-tiny way.
That is also my favourite approach to build apps – I first whip up a basic version (MVP) of the application I’m building, and then steadily make it better by adding new features or redesigning old ones. Sometimes this takes months but the final* result is magnitudes better compared to the MVP.
* Everyone knows that writing software is never complete…. Just like George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice & Fire series.
